Objectives:
Design and develop a new website to showcase Zephyr Sawmills’ professional services and provide a way for prospective customers so make an enquiry for each service. A solution for selling timber of varying sizes and species directly to customers.
Solutions:
We built a website from the ground up within WordPress using an industry standard page builder and integrating multiple custom elements to provide dynamic views. We ensured that the content management system was easy for the client to keep the content up to date with minimal support.
An e-commerce interface to allow users to browse a selection of timber for sale and make a “sales enquiry”. The client wanted to allow customers to interact with the store with a familiar e-commerce interface without having to take direct payment.
Approach:
We worked closely with Zephyr Sawmills to understand their business and customer. We helped to develop a brand guideline which represents their company and their ethos for sustainable forestry and timber. Using this guide, we developed styles to implement in the design of the website.
As an integral part of this process we designed and implemented user journeys with multiple entry points across the website, leading to converting the user by making a service enquiry.
