  • Design and build of a brand new website following the new brand guidelines.
  • Streamlined the enquiry process through A/B testing and ongoing development work.
Approach:

As a startup, Go Car Charge knew that they needed a strong web presence to attract domestic and commercial enquiries. As the OLEV / OZEV grants were available, they expected a large influx of enquiries from the start. As well as acting as a platform to show the services that the company offers, the website also helped them in their efforts to acquire contracts from external sources and display social proof of their actions and accreditations.

What we did:

Visual Identity

We discussed several ideas with the owner of the business to build a visual identity that demonstrated the service offered, the positive environmental impact and a logo that would resonate with their intended target audience.

The colour scheme uses an eco-green and dark grey and incorporate the word GO as part of the simple car outline. The addition of a plug to the back of the logo alludes to the services offered by Go Car Charge.

Website Design and Build

The website uses the colours from the brand along with carefully selected imagery that compliment the design to create a visually appealing website that is light in appearance. We incorporated elements of social proof and accreditations throughout the pages to clearly demonstrate the professionalism of Go Car Charge.

The website is fully mobile responsive and receives regular updates to the pages as new legislation and industry relevant news is added.

Enquiry Testing

Through the initial build period, we measured the success of the main goal – receiving enquiries. This was done through a simple A/B testing method to first of all establish the best path for the website user, and secondly to determine their preferred method of contact. The most successful methods were selected as the final solution, however these are monitored closely to allow us to make changes as the business develops.
