BACAB (Buckingham and Community Advice Bureau) are a Buckingham-based independent charity which was set up to provide funding for the Buckingham, Winslow and District Citizens Advice Bureau, which is now part of Citizens Advice Aylesbury Vale.

BACAB needed a full brand refresh to raise awareness of the important fundraising activities they partake in.
- New fresh brand influence by Citizens Advice
- Clean, mobile responsive website design
- Photography and event marketing
The charity aims to raise at least £25,000 each year to support the service which offers home visits for the most vulnerable clients and free support to people struggling in our community. They approached the Yellow Moose team looking for fresh ideas to boost their fundraising efforts and acquire a new charity web design.
What we did:
When the Trustees contacted us, they wanted help with a full rebrand; the aim was to increase their audience and generate revenue from individual and corporate donors.
The logo had to pay reference to the main body that this would be raising funds for – Citizens Advice.
We started with an overhaul of BACAB’s logo; this formed the basis of a modern yet classic brand. The new logo design was then incorporated into email signatures for all the trustees of the charity, and was complementary of the colour palette used for their new website.
Charity Website Design
The existing BACAB website was sadly no longer fit for purpose. It had an outdated look and feel, clunky navigation, and did nothing to encourage people to donate. The team from Yellow Moose worked tirelessly to produce a clean, crisp and informative charity web design to offer helpful details to potential donors and to make for a better user experience.
The new content management system also allowed the charity’s secretary to easily update events, news and information, which in turn gave her more time to get on with the important task of looking after this wonderful charity!
In order to fulfil the brief, that is to increase BACAB’s audience and revenue stream, Yellow Moose began work managing the ongoing marketing campaign in several ways. Firstly we boosted the BACAB audience with an increased social media presence across multiple platforms, always giving a strong emphasis on local support for events and regular giving. Our copywriters are create, style and manage the sending out of regular digital newsletters to their registered subscribers to increase audience awareness of all the things that is go on at BACAB.
Social Media and Event Photography
As well as taking some awesome pics of our local area surrounding Buckingham and Winslow for the new BACAB website we also took some lovely professional headshots of the BACAB trustees. We’ve also had a great time delivering custom event photography at all BACAB fundraising events to enhance the news and events sections of their website as well as social media profiles and posts.
